Meet the Allen Machine Products Team:
Peter Allen, President/CEO/Founder
Peter is the founder of the company and a business leader on Long Island for over 24 years. He is a graduate of Stony Brook University where he majored in engineering and economics. Peter continued his technical studies at the Do-All Institute, where he finished first in his class.
Rich Pettenato, Vice President - Operations
Rich has over 20 years of manufacturing experience, most of which has been in welding, sheet metal and assembly areas. He coordinates all aspects of manufacturing and fabrication, supervising seven project managers and over eighty manufacturing personnel. Rich is our "go to guy. He is hands on manager, who has mastered not only the technical side of our manufacturing floor but also the practical side.
Mike Pettenato, Product Director
Mike has over 20 years experience in sheetmetal and machining. He is presently in charge of the daily flow of shop operations. Scheduling machine and man-hours, reviewing raw material requirements, and overseeing shop safety.
Andrew Marslek, Engineering Manager
Andrew has been involved in sheet metal and fabrication for over 18 years. He has been programming sheet metal for over 12. In addition to successfully completing all of the available technical training offered from Amada, Andrew continues his degree work in Mechanical Engineering and Auto Cad.
Ray Haase, Quality Assurance Manager
Ray has over twenty six years of manufacturing experience, beginning on the floor and advancing into an inspection role for more than half of his career. Working closely with both engineering and project management, Ray has developed quality criteria to aid in a new product life cycle from prototype to full production. His staff has over 75 years of quality experience in sheet metal, machining and electromechanical assembly.
George Volz, Senior Project Engineer
George has over 37 years of Project Management experience with over twenty of them with IBM. He presently manages projects for, IBM, SVG, Pitney Bowes, SMC Transit and a variety of other start up projects. He has experience in metallurgy, machining, finishing, magnetics, plastic fabrication, plastic machining, assembly, and electromechanical assemblies.
